The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of
Technology, Owerri(FUTO), Prof. Asiabaka,
during the 31st matriculation ceremony of the
University, announced a scholarship scheme
for the best undergraduate student in each
School of the University with effect from the current academic session. He further explained that the modality for the award of the scholarship would be based on student with the highest cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

According to Prof. Asiabaka, the entitlements for the beneficiaries of the scheme include tuition and hostel accommodation. He explained that the
